Ladle Permanent Lining Castable
Ladle Permanent Lining Castable is a high-performance refractory castable designed for use between the insulation layer and the working lining of steel ladles. It serves as the permanent lining of the ladle and is typically installed at a thickness of 30–60 mm on the inner side of the ladle shell.
The steel ladle is a critical vessel connecting steelmaking and continuous casting processes. As the structural backbone of the lining system, the permanent layer plays a vital role in preventing molten steel leakage, maintaining structural stability, and ensuring safe ladle operation.
This product is formulated with optimized graded high-alumina or alumina-magnesia aggregates. Low-impurity micro-expansion agents are incorporated into the matrix, and the maximum aggregate size is carefully adjusted to enhance density, dimensional stability, and service life. The material offers excellent workability, controlled setting time, strong thermal insulation, and superior thermal shock resistance.
